Tom Brady, Ready for Some Football

Brett Favre makes a successful return. By not making the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback public did not workout for Head Coach Eric Mangini and it looks as if a star was born in a New York Jets uniform as QB Mark Sanchez leads team to their first victory. Drew Brees, of the New Orleans Saints throws an unbelievable 6 touchdowns. The Detroit Lions with Rookie QB Matthew Stafford were who we thought they were Losers; but out of all the games and highlights on Sunday, It is the Monday night football game that marks the return of New England Patriots' leader and great quarterback, Tom Brady is the highlight of the week.

New England Patriot fans really have more to cheer about as Tom Brady leads them into battle against the Buffalo Bills. Everyone knows the story but for those who have been living in a cave for 10 or more years, Brady played with Michigan Wolverines, drafted in the 6th round, takes over for an injured great QB Drew Bledsoe wins three super bowl rings and become the most talked about quarterback on the planet.

After the perfect regular season in 2007 and 50 touchdowns, it was 2008 season when disaster struck, Tom Brady was back to pass in the Kansas City Chiefs game and at the end of the play his ACL was toast and he was gone for the entire season. Brady had to sit and watch the Patriots not make the playoffs despite having 11-5 won loss record.

Tom Brady returns ready to take his rightful place as possibly the best quarterback to play the game, but definitely a winner who will always be a part of the conversation of the best player at the QB position. Brady has the speedy wide receiver in newcomer to the Patriots but veteran in the league Joey Galloway. Along with Randy Moss, both wide receivers should be able to stretch opposing defenses like play dough with the vertical passing game. Tom Brady will have ex Jacksonville Jaguar Fred Taylor to handoff the ball when tough yards are needed.

We the fans can never forget the Patriots still has Coach Bill Belichik who finds ways to win with his personnel. Tom Brady is their leader who barring any injury should put the Patriots back on top of the world. The offense looks to be quite explosive when they need to be and the question mark would be a defense that under Belichik expect them to be ready for whatever Buffalo throws at them. Thursday game with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans was defensive struggle and highlight but the return of Tom Brady really makes everyone ready for some football.
