NFL Week 4 Predictions

1. Baltimore Ravens
VS New England Patriots 1:00pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score: Baltimore 24-17

Tom Brady and company faces a much improved offense of the Ravens than in years pass, but what will tell the story in this game will be the defensive pressure used to force Brady out of pocket and rush his throws. Joe Flacco is playing Pro Ball quality football and improved offense benefits greatly from such improved play.

2. Buffalo Bills VS Miami Dolphins 4:05pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score: Miami 21 10

Dolphins are masters of running the Wild Cat formation and expect a heavy dose of it if second year quarterback Chad Henne has a poor outing. Ball control is what to expect out of the Dolphins. Inexperience quarterback trying to lead a team back to playoffs after starting 0-3 could be too large of obstacle to climb. Dolphins should get their first victory against the Bills.

3. Cincinnati Bengals VS Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score: Cincinnati 24-10

Derek Anderson has been given the keys to this rambling wreck of a football team to resurrect the lifeless offense of the Browns. Cincinnati is playing good football. The Bengals beat the Pittsburgh last week, and their only worry is letting themselves down in a game they should easily dominate.

4. Dallas Cowboys VS Denver Broncos 4:15pm ET on FOX

Predicted Winner and Score: Dallas 28-17

Dallas may have found a formula for wins, and a key element to their success is the running game. The Cowboys are averaging over 200 yards per game on the ground which leads to longer possessions. Denver record is 3-0, but I consider their team to be at the bottom of the undefeated teams because they have won by luck and victory includes one over the Oakland Raiders. Raiders as team seem lost without direction; therefore, the Broncos need to get win against better competition. The Broncos defense is great against run and Dallas will run the ball. It will come down to who wants it more.

5. Detroit Lions VS Chicago Bears 1:00pm ET on Fox

Predicted Winner and Score: Chicago 21 10

Detroit new found winning streak will end at 1 game. Jay Cutler should easily lead his squad over the Lions. Cutler has played well and as long as he continues to play well expects more victories for the Bears. Bears' defense will remind Lions' QB Matthew Stafford that he is still a rookie.

6.
Green Bay Packers VS Minnesota Vikings 8:30pm ET on ESPN

(Monday Night Football Game)

Everyone knows the storyline coming into the game but the focus should be on stopping Adrian Peterson. Bret Favre could become first quarterback ever to defeat each team in the league if he can lead the Vikings to victory. Minnesota have far better defense than the Packers. A great game for Peterson means a lot of play action passing for Favre.

Predicted Winner and Score: Minnesota 28-21

7.
New York Giants VS Kansas City Chiefs 1:00pm ET on Fox

Predicted Winner and Score: New York Giants 24-7

I expect more of the Giants winning ways. New York will look to run the ball and control the clock. Kansas City would need to protect their QB Matt Cassel from the Giants' pass rush. Once the Chiefs stop with mental errors such as amassing penalties, they will become a better team. For now, the Giants will get a big victory over the Chiefs.

8. New York Jets VS New Orleans Saints 4:05pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score:
New Orleans 28-21

New Orleans is scoring and taking no prisoners. The Jets defense has disrupted many passing games and if it can slow down Drew Brees then the Jets will have a chance. The Saints running game has improved and this will help slow any pass rush down.

9.
Oakland Raiders VS Houston Texans 1:00pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score: Houston 24-16

The Texans has Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub both who can make life miserable for the Raiders. Jamarcus Russell needs to greatly improve his play to help the Raiders become a better team. The atmosphere around the Raiders need to change too much dysfunctional behavior going on in the camp to see this team correcting the problems until they clean house from the top down.

10.
San Diego Chargers VS Pittsburgh Steelers 8:20pm ET on NBC

Predicted Winner and Score: Pittsburgh 21-14

Pittsburgh running game has suffered, and they rely more on Ben Roethlisberger's arm. Pittsburgh will improve as a team once they get consistent effort from beginning to the end of the game. The Steelers usually start strong but finishes game far below the caliber of play that brought them a Super Bowl ring last year. The Chargers running game is suffering, but it should get a boost with the return of LaDainian Tomlinson.

11. Seattle Seahawks VS Indianapolis Colts 1:00pm ET on FOX

Predicted Winner and Score: Indianapolis 28-14

Peyton Manning is on fire this season and look for him to torch the Seahawk's defense for at least two touchdown passes. Defensive End Dwight Freeney will not play; therefore the pass rush must come form other places. Seneca Wallace will get the start for the Seattle.

12. St. Louis Rams VS San Francisco 49ers 4:15pm ET on FOX

Predicted Winner and Score: San Francisco 21-7

49ers will get back to their winning ways and the 49ers should easily defeat the Rams.

Expect Shaun Hill to target Tight End Vernon Davis who would have been the MVP if not for Favre miracle throw to win the game last week.

13.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers VS Washington Redskins 1:00pm ET on FOX

Predicted Winner and Score: Washington 17-14

Two of the worst team in the NFL face-off for a much needed victory by both squads. Washington needs a win to bounce back from the loss to the Lions. Both offenses are struggling to score touchdowns.

14.
Tennessee Titans
VS Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm ET on CBS

Predicted Winner and Score: Tennessee 23-14

Titans I consider the best football that has n record of 0-3. This is the week the Titans get a victory. It will help the Titans if wide receivers hang on to the ball. Kerry Collins has thrown some catchable balls that have been dropped. A victory is needed if the Titans expect to make the playoffs.
